Light Aircraft Pilot Licence – LAPL(A)

The Light Aircraft Pilot Licence (LAPL) is the perfect entry point into aviation for those who want to enjoy flying recreationally. Entry Requirements

age
At least 16 years old
Minimum 16 years old to start training

EASA Medical Class II Certificate or higher
Or LAPL Medical

ICAO English Level 4 Certificate or higher

LAPL holders are allowed to act as Pilot in Command (PIC) on single-engine piston aircraft up to 2000 kg, carrying up to three passengers, making it a great licence for leisure flying across Europe.

If you later decide to expand your flying privileges, the LAPL training can be credited toward a Private Pilot Licence (PPL).
